On card access, there is honestly not much between them.

We are not going to pretend otherwise. Secrid invented this category and their mechanism is excellent. If quick card access is the only thing you care about, both do the job.

Secrid

Push the lever on the aluminium Cardprotector and your cards fan out, ready to pick. Up to 6 cards in the protector itself, more in the leather on the Miniwallet, Slimwallet and Twinwallet.

Both are good wallets. They are built for different pockets.

Does Secrid hold coins?

Yes, but not in the wallet itself. Secrid sells a Coinpocket as a separate accessory. Forge has a coin pocket built into the wallet for up to 10 coins.

Is the Forge mechanism faster than Secrid?

No, and we are not going to claim that. Both fan your cards out in one movement. Secrid uses a lever on the aluminium Cardprotector, Forge uses a slider. On card access they are comparable.

How many cards does Forge hold?

Up to 11. Seven sit in the quick-access slide and four more are stored inside.

What about the warranty?

Forge gives a lifetime warranty. Secrid states a two year guarantee on their own site.

Can I track my Forge wallet?

Yes. The Forge Tracking Card is 1.7 mm thin, works natively with Apple Find My and slips in between your cards. Secrid offers the Chipolo Card for the same purpose.

Why is Forge cheaper?

Forge sells direct at € 39,90 with no retail markup in between. Secrid sells mainly through retailers, which is also why there is no single Secrid price to quote.

If you carry more than cards, you should not have to buy that separately.
